Come with me through mark

I have just read David Pawson's latest book - "Come with me through Mark" The gospel of mark is the shortest gospel with a fast-flowing narrative and David takes us through it. If you need encouragement or a more thorough understanding of what and why we believe as followers of Jesus this book is for you. It has all you need to understand God's eternal purpose in sending Jesus and all that his life, death and resurrection accomplished and what has yet to be fulfilled in the future.

This is an easy to read, comprehensive and exciting book - I couldn't put it down! It starts of with the story of Alec McGowan, the actor, who recited from memory the whole of the gospel of Mark on stage at the Mermaid theatre and then on to the West End stage where it ran for months. It was an unlikely success but his grandfather had prayed with him as a little boy and said that he would preach to thousands!
