 Children’s Storehouse
Children's Storehouse collects equipment, clothes, toys, and
books for children between the ages of 0 and 7 years and
gives these to families in need.
The families are referred to us by support agencies in
Haringey and we visit and distribute the clothes, equipment
etc at no cost to the families.
NLV Church has given us a budget which has meant that we
can buy stair gates, new mattresses and other things that we
need to have quickly in order to provide emergency help to
families. However virtually everything we distribute has been
given to us.
We’re now in our 5th year and to date we’ve helped around
550 families.
We’ve been really thrilled that in the last year people from
other churches have joined the team. We store most things
at our home and are hoping that more churches will become involved so we can establish another store elsewhere in the Borough.
We are almost always in need of clothes and equipment, so if
