Church Life

angelAre you an angel?

Two people asked me that question in the last 2 years. My short and rapid reply was, "Absolutely not. I am an ordinary person whom Jesus has been working on for a long while." The context in each case was someone in crisis. All John and I did was turn up, care, pray and see what God would do. These 2 particular people became believers one of whom was subsequently healed of an eye complaint.

My observation as I remember the question is:- If i can appear to be an
"angel" to another human being how desperate must that person be. Also, to have anyone show unconditional love seemed to have been a totally new experience for them.

This week i heard someone say, "You are God's gift to the people he has sent you." I thought it was worth repeating!

Fellow "angels" and "gifts" press on and let the light
shine..................................................................

:-) I'm sure you've been an "angel" in many more than just those occasions...

Dearest Patsy

You will always be like an angel to me, my friend and colleague. May God continue to bless and uphold you. All my love
