Patsy's Piece

A great big, extra large thankyou to everyone who has prayed or sent cards, written letters, brought flowers and given gifts to me during these last months of enormous upheaval. The love of family, friends, brothers and sisters near and far has been overwhelming at times and I thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I literally haven’t been able to reply as there are so many of you.

I am currently having chemo and trying to keep life as normal as is possible. John, darling husband, has commandeered my kitchen – Aargh!

I insist on doing my bit as I might get infantilized or something worse. Some days very good and some are honestly quite bad but my heart is now at peace and I am still in the fight for a healing.

One scripture that I have been given by so many people is Psalm 121 – twice on one day once.

This was the psalm that I memorized as a little girl in Sunday School before I met Jesus and it has always been special to me.
