The Bible and Giving
All we have comes from God and belongs to him (1Chron 29:14). Under the New Covenant we are encouraged to give regularly, cheerfully and proportionately
(1 Cor 16:1-2; 2 Cor 8: 1-16; 2 Cor 9:6 – 15)

How to give
By Standing Order through their bank. Ask for a form

Cash or cheques can be given at the offering at the Celebration or any meeting

If you are a taxpayer please complete the gift aid declaration, which means that for every
pound you give, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue.
This means that £10 can be turned into £12.80 and it doesn’t cost you a thing

Accountability
Giving, according to scripture, is giving to God, who will hold those who spend it responsible. However:

§          As a limited company and registered charity our accounts are a matter of public record.

§          Anyone who has a reason to know can inspect any of our records.

§          At least once a year we will publish details of income and expenses.

§          We hold regular trustees meetings governed by law to ensure appropriate use of money entrusted to the church.

§          The trustees are currently John Graham, Leigh Collier and Dave Bradley, who will gladly try to answer any questions.
